This is where it all began, home to our family’s farmhouse and barns, surrounded by majestic, century-old Carolea trees. The sea’s gentle breath softens the air, while the clay-rich soil lends our oil a round, balanced depth. It’s here that the soul of Tenute Cristiano took root.

Protected by the Calabrian hills and caressed by coastal winds, this lush olive grove is home not only to olives, but also to figs, citrus fruits, and a deep connection to local heritage. Its fertile soil conveys vitality, producing an extra virgin olive oil with vibrant freshness and a green complexity. This grove is also the site of the ancient city of Terina, where an ancient coin depicting the siren Ligea was discovered. The siren’s profile, featured on some of our bottles, is inspired by this coin, symbolizing a timeless link to the Mediterranean.

Perched in a historic valley, once marked by ancient battles, this olive grove stands proudly at 350 meters above sea level. The elevation and clay-rich soil yield olives with a bold, peppery intensity and exceptionally high levels of polyphenols.

Tenuta Mendicino: the smallest and the most beautiful, perched on a steep hillside with a breathtaking view. From this vantage point, you can see the Lamezia Valley, blanketed in olive trees, and the shimmering Tyrrhenian Sea in the distance. Our grove is entirely organic, dedicated to producing exceptional, first cold-extracted extra virgin olive oil that’s rich in polyphenols.
