In the 1950s, the family patriarch inherited the estate. Guided by a profound respect for health and nature, he believed that olive oil was more than nourishment, it was a ritual of healing, a legacy of wellness to be shared with the world.
Growing up among these ancient olive trees, the Cristiano family learned the rhythm of the seasons and the quiet language of the land. Those early years in the olive groves shaped a lifelong dedication to caring for the land and to the art of artisanal olive oil production. Today, in its third generation, this tradition continues, producing premium extra virgin olive oil that reflects authentic Italian quality and sustainability.
In the 1990s, Scarlett, the English wife of the patriarch’s son, took the helm of the estate, guiding Tenute Cristiano toward sustainable and organic farming and transforming it into one of Italy’s most awarded extra virgin olive oils. Today, under the leadership of the third generation, Isabella continues this journey, bringing Tenute Cristiano to international markets while upholding the values of quality, authenticity, and respect for the land.
